Mexican origin.. Purple pink fruit of 120 to 250 grams, strongly flattened and wrinkled.
Very old variety, heirloom of the Zapotec Indians from the region of Oaxaca in Mexico. Very similar to "Zapotec pink Ribbed" of which it is probably related.
Synonym: Zahnrad.

Flesh color wine lees, multi lodges. Excellent taste, sweet, incomparable.
Very productive variety.
