Very old variety, USA. Very large pink purple fruit of +/- 500 grams of beefsteak type.
Very old variety awarded at the exhibition of 1907 in Jamestown and introduced commercially by T.W Wood & Sons Seed Company of Richmond in Virginia in the 1920s.
Very big pink-purple fruit of +/- 500 grams and which can exceed the kilo. Beef steak type, flattened and ribbed at the top and with curved shoulders.
Meaty beef flesh with a good sweet and spicy flavor.
