A rare variety from Spain. In Spain, green varieties are traditionally planted at the edge of fields to prevent theft, as potential thieves are fooled by the color of immature fruit.
Fruit weighing 200 to 300 grams, beefsteak-like, flattened at the poles and more or less ribbed at the top.
Attractive emerald-green color.
Full, juicy flesh with a pleasantly acidic flavor. If eaten al dente, quickly loses its taste qualities.
Wide-growing plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Very generous, regular production from mid-season to first frost.
