German variety resulting from a cross between Schokozipfel (the “sister” of Streifenzipfel, an elongated/oval brown tomato with a point) and blush, created and developed by Karin Gramm, collector and amateur breeder.

Name origin: Tubis Grüne Murmel

“Tubis” because Karin Gramm's pseudonym on the forums is ‘tubi’ (because she plays the tuba) and ‘Grüne Murmel’, because the fruit is mottled green.
