Very rare and very old variety, 1893, from the catalog of James Thorburn's company.
Round fruit from 120 to 250 grams, discreet ribbing at the top.
Uncommonly colored epidermis, honey brown color similar to terracotta, hence its name, green traces on the shoulders only disappearing at full maturity.
Thick skin, orange flesh mottled with pink in the center. Sweet and balanced flavor.
Plant with medium development, indeterminate growth. Regular foliage.
Big production in mid-season which tends to decrease as the autumn freshness sets in.
