Heirloom variety, originally from Texas, listed in the Seed Savers Yearbook since at least 1980.

Beefsteak-type fruit, 250 to 500 grams most often round, sometimes heart-shaped, slightly flattened and with more or less marked ribbing at the top.

Orange-yellow epidermis covered with a red blush when ripe, more visible at the end of the season.

Thick and juicy beef with few seeds.

Perfumed and sweet flavor, excellent taste qualities.

Plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.

Good harvests rather from the second half of the season.
