Improved version of the famous "Marmande", quoted in the catalogs since 1951. Not to be confused with the F1 hybrid variety.
Bright red fruit of 150 to 250 grams and +/- 5 cm in diameter, round with a slight ribbing at the top and a beginning of undulation at the shoulders.
Juicy beef flesh with a dense texture. Good old-fashioned tomato flavor.
Plant with medium development and semi-determined growth.
Abundant production early in the season.
Well adapted to cool climate regions.
Good resistance to diseases, especially to "Fusarium" and "Veticillium.
