Controversial variety! For some it would be the same as "Cherokee purple PL", for others it would be another variety.
Fruit weighing 200 to 350 grams, more or less flattened beefsteak type (10 to 15 cm in diameter), with plump and slightly ribbed shoulders. Bouquets of 3 to 5 fruits.
Purple/chocolate dress.
Dense and juicy beef with the good smoky flavor characteristic of dark tomatoes. For some its flavor does not equal that of Cherokee purple RL.
Plant with moderate development, potato foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good and regular production in the second half of the season and until frost.
Variety well adapted to a hot and dry climate and tending to burst in rainy weather.
