A fixed variety from the USA. Developed by Dr. J. Baggett of Oregon State University, introduced in 1994.
Fruit orange-red, 150-350 grams, round and slightly flattened, rippled at the top. Medium depression at stem attachment.
Very good flavour, rather acidic.
Long and generous production on a large bushy plant.
Good uniformity of fruit size.
This variety is parthenocarpic, i.e. it produces fruit without needing to be pollinated. The first fruits are often seedless.
Good resistance to Verticillium and mildew, cool weather variety. Ideal for cool summers, coastal climates or greenhouse cultivation (in winter). Suitable for pot culture.
