A variety originating in the USA. This is not the real Shah variety. This is considered to be an off-type of Mikado, distributed for a time by Henderson.
Fruit weighs 200-300 grams, beefsteak type, round, slightly flattened at the poles, with ribbed and rounded shoulders.
Creamy white skin turning yellow when fully ripe.
Smooth and juicy flesh. Sweet and refreshing flavour.
Large plant, abundant potato foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good mid-season production.
