Little known and little cultivated variety outside its country of origin, Romania, not mentioned in the various reference sites.

Red fruit weighing 150 to 300 grams, flattened and more or less strongly ribbed, similar to Costoluto Fiorentino but less wrinkled.

Tastes like an old tomato. Very good shelf life once picked.
