Variety as the name indicates should be of Russian origin, but nothing proves it, its original name having been lost.
Dark red fruit weighing 200 to 300 grams, plum-like, cylindrical, more or less stretched.
Firm flesh with a balanced sweetness/acidity flavour. To be used for making sauces and coulis.
A variety for the second half of the season with very good production. Good disease resistance.
