Variety developed by John Swenson, from an "off-type" of Speckled Roman (a cross between Banana Legs and Antique Roman, which explains the colour).

Synonyms: Roman candle - Roman candle.

Fruit of 100 to 150 grams, plum/chilli type, elongated and cylindrical in shape of a banana, 7 to 12 cm long, ending with a large nipple. Bright yellow skin with a waxed appearance.

Firm and consistent flesh, usually "dry", with no gel and very few seeds.

Variety intended for drying and/or cooking.

A large plant with wispy foliage and good production in the second half of the season and until the frosts.
