Origin USA. Large red fruit of 300 to 500 grams, flattened and ribbed.
A heirloom variety from the USA. Featured in the 1993 Seed Savers Yearbook, one of the 100 varieties described in Carolyn Homme's book "100 heirloom tomatoes for the American gardener".
Large, red, beefsteak-like fruit weighing 300-500 grams, flattened at the poles and ribbed at the top with a more or less pronounced ripple at the shoulders.
Dense and fleshy beef flesh, very good flavour.
