Variety originating from the town of Asti in Italy. Very popular across the Atlantic.
Square fruit with 3 or 4 lobes, about 200 grams, +/- 12 to 15 cm high and wide.
Ripens from green to red.
Thick, fleshy flesh with a mild, sweet flavour. Fruit can be eaten green.
Prefers a warm climate.
Good early season production (green 60-65 days - red 80-90 days).
