A recent variety developed by Tom Wagner in the 2000s, he named it after his visit to Belgium and Haverskerque (Northern France) in 2008. There are several strains in circulation. (Tomatofest sells one that is black with green flesh!!!).
Small, round and slightly flattened cocktail fruit weighing 50 to 80 grams, gathered in clusters.
Dark red colour with traces of anthocyanin on the shoulders (depending on the strain, the fruit may also be vertically streaked with green or yellow-orange).
Juicy, 3-located flesh with lots of gel and seeds, variable flavour from mediocre to pleasant.
A small plant of about 1 metre with determined growth and excellent production. Can be grown in pots.
Please note that there is also an identical version but "Wooly".
