Heirloom variety probably originating from the Montpellier region, France, already known at the end of the 18th century.
Red fruit of 80 to 120 grams, round and smooth, with the beginnings of ribbing in the upper part, more or less marked. Clusters of 3 to 4 fruits. Narrow and shallow depression at the stem attachment, trace of umbilicus at a tiny point.
Flesh juicy, 4-located. Good rich flavour.
Excellent mid-season production, good consistency in size.
