Heirloom variety originating from Cameroon, West Africa, where it was widely cultivated before the arrival of hybrid varieties.
Small pink fruit weighing 100 to 180 grams, flattened and more or less deeply ribbed, even wrinkled, on the upper 2/3 of the body.
Very juicy flesh containing many seeds. The flavour is more bitter than sweet. To be used in cooking rather than in salads.
Very vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Very good yields from mid-season. Good resistance.
