Out of the “Brown's Yellow Giant” type discovered by Dr. Bill Best, Kentucky, USA.
Large, beefsteak-like fruit weighing 250 to 500 grams, flattened at the poles, with more or less rounded shoulders and ribbing at the top.
Light green color, with dark green traces on the shoulders, fading slightly to amber at maturity.
Dense, juicy green flesh with red veins in the center. Excellent flavor, with a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness. Like all “vertes”, to be eaten quickly as it rapidly loses its taste qualities if overripe.
Large plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Average production in the second half of the season, but only large sizes.
