Commercial variety introduced in 1962 in the USA, the result of successive crosses of "Lycopersicum.peruvainum", "L.Hirsutum", "Bison", "Stokesdale", "Sioux", and "Bounty" developed by the University of Idaho with the aim of obtaining a tomato adapted to the specific climate of the south west of the USA

The fruit is red, smooth, 80 to 200 grams, round, slightly flattened at the top and with slightly rounded shoulders.

Firm, dense flesh with a pungent flavour.

Compact, small plant, not exceeding 1.20 m, rugosa foliage, determined growth.

Good early production. Resistant to "Curly top" (a virus that causes leaf curl and eventually stops the growth of the plant, not to be confused with classic leaf curl which is not a disease but a sign of deficiency!)
