A rare variety originally from Siberia, introduced to North America by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk and featured in the 2007 Seed Savers Yearbook. Orlinyi Klyuv is the correct original name, not its translation "Eagle's Beak" or "Bec d'Aigle", which are trade names designed to mislead the amateur.
Large, pink, heart-shaped fruit, slightly ribbed at the shoulders, weighing 200 to 400 grams. Gets its name from the way its apical end terminates: eagle-beak-shaped.
Dense, beefy flesh. Good old-fashioned tomato flavor.
Large plant with small stems, sparse regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Very good yield from mid-season. Well adapted to cool conditions.
