Commercial variety of Russian origin, presented in the Seed Savers Yearbook of 2008; its name can be translated as "Heart of Eagle".
Large heart-shaped fruit most often slender, +/- 300 grams, the largest can exceed one kilo.
Dark pink color with greenish shoulders when the fruit is exposed to direct sunlight.
Dense, firm and juicy flesh containing few seeds, sweet flavor, excellent taste quality.
Little vigorous plant with columnar development, sparse vaporous and drooping foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good and regular harvests from mid-season until frost.
Well suited to areas with cool summers or short seasons.
