ONGWEH IAS
Origin USA. Very rare variety, out of the ordinary due to an extremely vigorous growth .
A very rare variety, derived from seeds found in a bag of Green Zebra, probably the result of an accidental cross and whose parentage remains a mystery. Developed and stabilised by Phil Seneca, Good Mind Seeds.
This is a very unusual plant due to its extremely vigorous growth, more than 3 meters high, and a potato-like foliage with extra large leaflets!
The fruits are not to be outdone, of large size, flattened and with more or less rounded shoulders.
Yellowish-white colour, turning pink when ripe.
Beefy flesh with a beautiful texture, fleshy and dense, containing very few seeds. Excellent sweet and rich flavour with no acidity, probably one of the best white varieties. Late season production. Good fruit storage.
