NORTHERN DELIGHT
US variety. Small round red fruit weighing 30 to 60 grams; large early production.
US commercial variety, resulting from a cross between "Pixie" and "Sub-Artic Early", produced in 1989 by Idaho Agric. Expt State in Moscow.
Small round red fruit, more or less stretched out on the height, 30 to 60 grams. Clusters of 5 to 6 fruits.
Juicy, two-located flesh. Unsweetened taste, to be reserved for those who like acidic taste.
Very high productivity, determined growth, small but bushy plant not exceeding 0.60 m.
Suitable for cool summer and/or short season regions; good disease resistance (mildew, powdery mildew).
