An old variety whose exact origin is not known. One of the 100 varieties mentioned in the book by Carolyn Homme.

Heart-shaped fruit of 200 to 400 grams, dark pink with greenish shoulders.

Fleshy, dense beefy flesh with small pockets containing few seeds. Good sweet taste.

Fine, drooping, wispy foliage.
