Solanum aethiopicum with an ornamental character, native to Africa.

Tomato-like fruit, about 100 grams, round in shape, 5-7 cm in diameter and deeply ribbed/ribbed.

Ripens from green to orange-red to yellowish.

The fruits are generally eaten in the green state, it is at this stage that the flavor is the sweetest because as they ripen they become bitter.

Taller than average plant with broad leaves.

Good seasonal harvests.
