An old variety already mentioned in 1912 in the French magazine "la conserve alimentaire".

Pinkish-red fruit weighing 200 to 400 grams, sometimes more. Variable in shape, the same plant may produce heart-shaped or round fruit.

Juicy, dark beef-red flesh with few seeds, good old-fashioned tomato flavor.

Robust plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.

Production fairly early in the season for fruit of this size, regularly until frost.

NB: there is a variety called "Monkey ass" which some say could be the same. According to TatianaTomatobase, it produces only pink, heart-shaped fruit of larger size.
