Heirloom variety, originating from Hardin County, Kentucky.
Fruit from 150 to 300 grams, round beefsteak type, slightly flattened with curved and ribbed shoulders for large sizes.
Green color veiling itself in amber becoming almost orange when ripe, the shoulders remaining green.
Green beef flesh, sometimes with a pink trace. Well balanced flavor that is both sweet and sweet but also tangy.
Plant with medium development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Very good and regular harvests in the second half of the season.
Great disparity in caliber.
