Native to eastern Mexico where it grows wild.

Red cherry-like fruit, 2 cm in diameter. Clusters of about ten fruits.

Flesh with a very pleasant, fruity and sweet taste.

An exuberant variety that must be isolated and trellised to avoid overgrowth, do not prune.

Highly productive and very resistant to disease.

Withstands cool and cold weather well, tends to reseed easily.
