MARZ ROUND GREEN
Natural cross, USA origin. Small fruit weighing 80 to 120 grams and 5 to 6 cm in diameter, green then green-orange when ripe.
A natural cross from Jeff Dawson's garden in California in 1990. Featured in the 2003 Seed Savers Yearbook. There are striped segregations from this cross: 'Marz Yellow Red Stripes' and 'Marz Yellow Pink Stripes'.
Small fruit weighing 80 to 120 grams and 5 to 6 cm in diameter, green then orange-green at maturity, especially on the apical part, the shoulders being dark green. Round in shape with more or less marked ribbing at the top.
Green, juicy flesh. The flavour is more acidic than sweet, ideal for spicing up a salad.
