Heirloom originating from the USA. Large fruit weighing 300 to 900 grams, yellow/orange, flattened and curved, with a strong ribbing at the shoulders.
Heirloom variety, bred by Darrell Kellog Redford, Michigan. One of Carolyn Male's favourite varieties, author of 101 Heirlooms tomatoes. Recently named one of the best heirloom tomatoes by the editors of "Sunset Magazine.
Large, yellow/orange, flattened and curved fruit weighing 300-900 grams with strong shoulder ribbing. Strong, wide depression at the stem attachment.
Juicy beefy flesh with few seeds, orange gel like orange juice. Excellent flavour.
