An endangered heirloom variety from New Jersey. Has similarities to "Jersey Devil".

Bright red fruit weighing 120 to 250 grams, elongated plum type, 15 to 20 cm long, usually ending in a point, sometimes with a nipple.

Fleshy paste-like flesh containing little or no gel and seeds. Extremely mild and sweet flavour. Reputed to be one of the best varieties for making paste and coulis.

Vigorous plant that can become sprawling, regular dense foliage, indeterminate growth.

Very good second season production (+/- 85 days)
