Fruit weighing 100 to 180 grams, cylindrical and elongated plum type, ending in a point. Golden yellow skin turning orange when fully ripe. Clusters of +/- 6 fruits.
Fleshy, firm, paste-like flesh with little gel and seeds. Good sweet flavour. Ideal for sauces, coulis and pastes, also suitable for drying.
Compact, bushy plant with determined growth and regular foliage.
Abundant late mid-season production (+/- 85 days). Naturally resistant to scorch and to Verticillium and Fusarium. Can be grown in pots.
NB: The Mariseeds website sells a variety called "Italian gold roma dwarf" which obviously appears to be the same.
