Rare variety, old Ukrainian cultivar developed by Theodosius Makarovich Tarasenko, Sumy, Ukraine. The variety is stabilized and the mention "hybrid" is in no way an allusion to an F1.
Bright red fruit, 100 to 120 grams, round with a slight oval tendency with a pointed growth at the umbilicus. Huge bouquet (+/- 30 fruits) composed of several clusters of +/- 6 to 8 fruits each.
Firm and juicy flesh, thick wall. Excellent mild flavor. Consumption fresh or in cooking and canning.
Vigorous plant but with less development than Typ1, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Abundant production from mid-season until frost, very good conservation of fruits after picking.
Type 2: compared to the standard, slightly larger, rounder fruits on a plant with a slightly less exuberant development and a slightly lower yield.
