Very little is known about this variety from Croatia. It is named after the village in northern Croatia where it has been grown for generations. Its translation is "herzegovine".
Large red fruit weighing 300 to 600 grams, beefsteak-like, flattened and with rounded shoulders, even curved if the size becomes very large. Sometimes deep ribbing gives the fruit a lobed appearance. Deep depression at the stalk attachment, which is wide and corky.
Dense, juicy, beefy flesh. Good old-fashioned tomato flavor.
Vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Production from mid-season and regularly until frost.
