A rare variety from the Angevine region of France.
Very large red fruit weighing 300 to 600 grams, sometimes up to a kilo.
Beef steak-shaped, with more or less rounded shoulders and deep ribbing at the top.
Dense, juicy, beefy flesh, peripheral cavities sometimes empty. Well-balanced flavor. Use for sauces, coulis and preserves.
Wide-growing plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good, regular production in the second half of the season.
