A variety originating in the USA, resulting from the crossing of an 'unknown' cherry tomato with 'Yellow plum', developed by Dr Bagget of the University of Oregon. Introduced to the public in 1983.
Orange-yellow, cherry-like fruit, 15-20 grams, 2-3 cm in diameter, clustered in clusters of about 20 units.
Juicy flesh with a good sweet taste. Compact plant that can be grown in a container. Determined growth. T
Tendency to burst in rainy weather.
A special feature of this variety is that +/- 2/3 of the fruits are seedless.
Not to be confused with 'Golden Nugget', a very old heirloom from the end of the 19th century.
