Variety of more or less unknown origin, it is thought to have originated in Ohio, Maryland, Tennessee or Pennsylvania.

Large, round, slightly flattened, pink fruit with discrete ribs on the shoulders. Some fruits can reach a kilo. Strong depression at the stem attachment.

Exceptionally tasty beefy flesh, delicate and sweet without any acidity. May have been used in Belgium to produce wine in the past.
