FEUERWERK

German origin. Red fruit, discreetly streaked with yellow, flattened, 180 to 500 grams.

SKU: 188 Category:

A variety that is thought to have originated in Germany. Its translation from German is "Fireworks". A variety marketed in Russia as 'ФЕЙЕРВЕРК' which means 'Fireworks' seems similar to it and is probably the same.

Red fruit discreetly streaked with yellow, 180-500 grams. Flattened beefsteak type at upper pole, discrete ribbing at top, shoulders rounded. Wide and medium depth depression at the peduncular attachment often scarred. Multiple umbilicus in slight depression scarred to very tortured on the largest fruits.

Dense and fleshy beefy flesh, small lodges. Good flavour.

Note that there is another variety, originating from the USA, called "Fireworks" which also means "Feux d'artifice" which is different and can lead to confusion.
