According to its name, this variety originated in Australia, but there's no proof of this, although some believe it to be Etasunian.
Large, beefsteak-like fruit weighing 300 to 600 grams, slightly flattened and discreetly ribbed at the shoulders. Wide, deep corky depression at the stem attachment.
More or less dark red color, sometimes with greenish-yellow traces on the shoulders.
Fleshy, firm, juicy beef flesh with few seeds.
Excellent, well-balanced flavor, ideal for salads.
Large, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Although it produces from mid-season, harvests are more generous in the second half of the season.
Good plant firmness at the end of the season, resistant to bursting due to thick skin.
