DOBRYNYA NIKITICH
Russian commercial variety. Pink fruit, 120 to 250 grams, round, slightly flattened.
Commercial variety from Russia, introduced in the early 2000s. It is one of the three famous "bogatyrs" knights errant of Russian folklore. There is one tomato with each of their names: "Alesha Popovich" and "Ilya Muromets" are the other two.
Synonyms: Dobrynya Nikitich ,Dobrõnja Nikitich ,Добрыня Никитич.
Pink fruit 120-250 grams, round, slightly flattened at the poles and discreetly ribbed at the top. Clusters of 5-8 fruits. Deep depression at the stem attachment.
Mild flavour, average eating quality.
Productive variety, resistant to diseases and adapted to cool climate.
Note that several sites, including TatianaTomatobase and a Russian site, describe it as heart-shaped!
