Old family heritage from the USA, also known as Mayo's delight. Named after Mayo Underwood, who obtained the original seed.

Large, red, more or less blunt fruit weighing 300 to 450 grams, with ribbed, curved shoulders.

Juicy, fleshy flesh, small peripheral cavities containing few seeds and gel.

Fruity, well-balanced acidity/sweetness.

Wide-growing plant, regular foliage with narrow leaflets, indeterminate growth.

Harvested in the second half of the season.
