Variety believed to have originated in Russia, brought to the USA by a Russian immigrant in the 1960s. Discovered by Curtis Jackson of Renaissancefarm.
Large, pink, heart-shaped, fleshy fruit, usually weighing more than 500 grams and up to 1 kg.
Juicy, dense and fleshy beefy flesh. Multi-located, small, containing very few seeds. Sweet, excellent flavour.
Slender looking plant with wispy foliage.
Good second season production. Good disease resistance.
