Transalpine variety, originating from the Euganean Hills Regional Park in northern Italy, hence the name "côtes des collines euganéennes".
Large, raspberry-pink fruit weighing 250 to 600 grams, round with a cordate tendency, sometimes deformed by deep ribbing on the upper 2/3.
Full flesh with mostly hollow cavities and very few seeds, ideal for making pate and coulis. Mild, well-balanced flavor.
Vigorous plant with great development, abundant regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good production from mid-season, but higher in the second half of the season
