Commercial variety originating from Russia. Introduced to the US under its translated name "Chocolate Wonder".

Synonyms: Chocolate wonder - Shokoladnoe Chudo - Chudo Shokolad - Шоколадное чудо.

Fruit 200-400 grams reddish brown with greenish shoulders of beefsteak type. Shape more or less flattened at the poles, the shoulders discreetly ribbed and plump the larger the size will be.

Juicy, purple beef flesh, very dense and fleshy. The flavour is different from other "black" varieties, sweet with a hint of acidity.

Very vigorous plant with great development, indeterminate growth.

Very good mid-season production.
