Italian heritage from the Salerno region, south of Rome.
Large red fruit of 300 to 600 grams of round beefsteak type, slightly flattened at the poles, with deep ribbing at the top and more or less rounded shoulders depending on the size.
Dense and full beef flesh, few seeds and gel. Taste of old fashioned tomato.
Multiple uses, fresh consumption or preserves.
Vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, undetermined growth.
Average production, but only large fruits, in the second part of the season.
