Very old and rare variety, originally from Mexico, more precisely from the Cañada Valley in Oaxaca, a protected area under the aegis of UNESCO. The translation of its Aztec name gives: "old black chili".
Fruit with a pendular bearing of the conical bell type, +/-8 cm long and 6 cm wide at the shoulders.
Ripens from green to almost black chocolate brown.
Purple flesh when ripe. Flavor with strong notes of cocoa, tobacco and dried fruits, moderately hot: +/- 2500 SHU.
Plant with great development that can reach 1.20 meters, green foliage veined with purple.
Good harvest +/- 90 days. Resistant to tobacco mosaic virus.
