American heirloom. Green fruit with an amber colour when ripe, beefsteak type, 200 to 500 grams.
Heirloom variety believed to originate in the USA.
Large beefsteak-like fruit weighing 200 to 500 grams, flattened at the poles, ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders. Shallow depression at the stem attachment. Green skin turning amber at maturity, shoulders remaining dark green.
Firm, juicy emerald green flesh with a mild, fresh and sweet flavour.
Highly productive and fast growing variety.
