Variety considered for a long time as originating in Sardinia but it would be originating in the Netherlands.
Variety which has the characteristic to grow on grounds having been covered with brackish water thus developing a single soft and salted savour.
Small fruit, from 80 to 150 grams, orange-red with a dark green collar that turns red only when fully ripe.
Crunchy flesh, at the level of taste it is a gustatory discovery as the rate of acidity and sugar are high, also very rich in vitamin C, carotenoids and potassium.
Compact plant with light green foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good and regular mid-season harvests. Fruits take a long time to ripen but keep very well.
