Family heirloom variety native to Kentucky in Hardin County. Seed obtained from an old man who says he has grown it for many years.

Tapered heart-shaped purplish-pink fruit weighing 200 to 400 grams.

Fleshy, bright pink beefy flesh with small lodges containing very few seeds. Excellent flavor.

Plant with vaporous foliage.
